#DIY Cards From The Garden

Here's a really easy project anyone can do.
I'm sure most of you if not all of you have these materials on hand.

Materials needed:

A blank notecard or card stock,
even construction paper will
work for this easy project.

Other scraps of paper

glue stick

glue gun

twine or ribbon

a pencil

scissors

ruler (not shown)

a few clipped herbs from the garden
(shown on finished projects)

My blank note card was something
I already had which were
purchased a while ago.  So if
you're making your own, measure
out 7" x 5"  and then fold in
half, making your card 3-1/2" x 5".
You can make your card any size!!!

With my scraps I measure out a
2-1/2" square

Cut out square.

Glue the back of that square
with your glue stick.

Place glued square down on the
center of your card.

Gather up a few of your herbs and
wrap some twine around ends.
Place a small amount of hot
glue on to twine as shown.

Place onto card with glue
side down on to card.  Remember to
have the fold of your card on top.

Here are my two finished projects!

Add these cards to a basket of
your favorite home made breads,
or a basket filled with your
gardens bounty with
a special message.

I made one for my girlfriend's
birthday since she loves
to garden.

Hope you will give this project
a try and share them with me!!
